Getting Started

Creating an account is simple! Download the AutoTheory app from the App Store or Google Play, tap "Sign Up," and follow the prompts to enter your information. You can also sign up on our website by clicking the "Join Waitlist" button.

After signing in, navigate to the "My Vehicles" section in your profile. Tap "Add Vehicle" and enter your vehicle's make, model, year, and VIN (optional but recommended). You can add multiple vehicles to your account.

Yes, we take your privacy very seriously. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your personal information. You can review our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Booking Services

On the main screen, select the type of service you need, and we'll show you nearby verified service providers. You can filter results by distance, ratings, price, and availability. Each provider profile includes reviews, services offered, and pricing.

After selecting a service provider, choose the service you need, select your vehicle, and pick an available time slot from the calendar. Review your booking details, add any special instructions, and confirm your appointment.

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel appointments through the "My Appointments" section. Please note that cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment may incur a cancellation fee, depending on the service provider's policy.

Payments

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and Apple Pay. You can save your preferred payment methods securely in your account for faster checkout.

For most services, we place a hold on your payment method when you book, but you're only charged after the service is completed and you confirm your satisfaction. Some services may require a deposit at the time of booking.

If you're unsatisfied with a service, you can request a refund through our app within 7 days of service completion. Our team will review your request and work with the service provider to resolve the issue. Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
